Truck Mounted Fibre Chopper
The latest Power-Sprays Truck Mounted Fibre Chopper is designed to automatically cut and feed Alkali-Resistant Glass Fibre directly into the continuous mixing auger. This low maintenance system enables even fibre distribution and accurate dosing.
Driven by a DC motor with a variable speed controller the unit is built into a cabinet, which is also designed to house and protect the Alkali-Resistant Glass Fibre roving.
The units require a 24V DC supply (12V for USA) and a small amount of compressed air. Unique features include:
- Large diameter cutter roller for high outputs and low maintenance
- Pneumatic ram to maintain pressure between the chopper rollers to ensure cut consistency
- Can operate with High Tex glass fibre rovings
- In-built air mover system to convey fibres to the mixer
